I attend Texas A&M - Commerce as a junior transfer student. My first semester here at Commerce, I finished with a 3.6 GPA. I'm a secondary education major, specializing in English and Social Sciences.

Hobbies
I've lived overseas my whole life until recently, I moved from Japan in August. I've been all around Asia and consequently have a really broad view on life, I love learning about other cultures. I've been really lucky that my parents were able to give me so many experiences starting from such a young age. I've participated in Habitat for Humanity efforts in Mongolia and in Thailand. I love kids, I want to teach high school for the Department of Defense, eventually becoming a professor of sociology. I have a lot of experience with high school students between subbing, volunteer work and coaching. Volleyball is by far my favorite sport and I love to write. I graduated in 2005 and took classes off and on from the University of Maryland at the base I lived on. I took a year off to work and came to Commerce in August of 2009 to finish school full time.
